Estonia's history dates back over 11,000 years, giving tourists a wealth of ancient culture to learn about while there. Featuring some of the oldest preserved towns in Europe, Estonia is a great place to explore on foot. Here you can visit the site of the Singing Revolution of 1989, in which 2 million people formed a human chain across Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.

While in Estonia, be sure to check out one of its traditional saunas. Saunas are quite popular with Estonians, often being followed up by a cold beer, or for the more adventurous a dive into cold snow!

In addition to its various on-land attractions, Estonia's location on the shores of the Baltic sea offers a host of water activities, including canoeing, cruises and sailing.
