job shop is a small manufacturing company that is equipped
to handle specialized, small-scale manufacturing "jobs". A
job shop like this doesn't continuously produce parts
and such but wait for an order for parts or components, they
wait for shoppers to give them their "job",
as it were. Hence the name. Thus, they are not specialized
in the manufacture of any particular part or product, but
rather specialized in the skills and procedures necessary
to manufacture a wide range of products; as opposed to, say,
textile manufactureres who are specialized in one specific
field of manufacturing.
