LED Shop - Shop, Purchase, Buy Online
Before Edison conquered the nocturnal shadows, man was only productive by day, and by night, only with candles and coal lamps. With the advent of the Industrial Revolution, society increased its productivity and general quality of life. Light Emitting Diodes are another such advance—worthy of note particularly because they make Christmas lights more energy efficient. Quite frankly, candles on Christmas trees were a health hazard.
In terms of their electronic application, LEDs—best purchased from LED shops—are highly versatile. The following snip-it from Tom Harris's article "How Light Emitting Diodes Work" lauds everything to do with LEDs, and with good reason:
"Light emitting diodes are real unsung heroes in the electronics world. They do dozens of different jobs and are found in all kinds of devices. Among other things, they form the numbers on digital clocks, transmit information from remote controls, light up watches and tell you when your appliances are turned on. Collected together, they can form images on a jumbo television screen.... Basically, LEDs are just tiny light bulbs that fit easily into an electrical circuit."
Beyond the basics, LEDs trounce ordinary incandescent bulbs by not having a filament that will burn out. Instead LEDs "are illuminated solely by the movement of electrons in a semiconductor material" (Harris). With the prevalence of LEDs in our electronic age, LED shops and other providers have a great advantage over shops with less demand.
