University Book Shop - Textbook, Used, Books, Bookstore - Online
Every university campus has a bookshop, and for good reason. Every university course requires at least one textbook, so universities, for convenience, sell the textbooks (new and used books) directly on-campus at a designated university bookshop. Often though, because of the convenience factor, university bookshop prices are quite high. The required textbook may be cheaper from an outside source, but on-campus bookshops have more than books in stock. You can buy university apparel (like sweatshirts, jerseys, or alumni hats that have your university's logo on it to participate in school cheer) and computer products like replacement ink cartridges, paper, and floppy disks. A university book shop will also sell computer software like the Adobe Suite and word processing and text-editing tools. For those emergencies when students run out of pens or their book bag explodes from excessive use, they can purchase a package of pens and a new school bag from their university campus bookshop instead of taking a bus to a local shopping mall. For all the convenience and product selection a university book shop can offer, their slightly higher prices should not be a problem.
Most universities have a university book shop page on their website. Students and faculty alike may shop online for books and even pre-order them. Going to shop for used books at the bookstore online can off-set the cost incurred by the convenience so that the bookstore will eagerly buy back books as they will also profit by selling them again. Part of the thrill of going to university, apart from engaging in higher education and meeting new people from all over the world, is visiting the university bookshop at the beginning of the term. Walking out of the university bookshop with a pile of books should get any student in the mood to learn.
