Wedding Planner - Shop, Purchase, Buy Online
While a professional wedding planner offers a great advantage by making a bride's life less stressful until the anticipated date, taking on the role of assisting in the planning and organizing of the wedding, many brides these days plan their own wedding with the help of a wedding planner or organizer.
A wedding planner isn't an ordinary planner. There are many different types of wedding planner books that have varying sections available in each, and even the type of binding of your book can have different consequences for your planning process. A regular bound book will be the cheapest, but it may not hold up, especially if the book is heavy and if it is used a lot. A spiral book is a better option, as it usually will hold together better. Another option is a binder – this is especially useful because new pages can be added to the book as you see fit. The only problem is that pages can be accidentally ripped out. Some books also come with inserted folders or plastic sheets to help you organize your materials. Whatever your choice, make sure that there are places for you to write and work in the book yourself.
The standard wedding planner book could include the following sections/pages:
- Attire (bride gown, tuxedo, bridesmaids dresses, etc.)
- Invitations (Cards, guest lists, etc.)
- Location (Reception venue, rental budget, etc.)
- Flowers (bouquets, boutonniere, etc.)
- Announcements
- Decorations (Seating plan, etc)
- Food and beverage (Menu selections and prices, cake, liquor, catering, etc)
- Photography and Video
- Transporation
- Vows
- Gift Registry
- Honeymoon
- Appointment/Date Plan (for rehearsal dinner dates, appointment for food tasting, etc)
- Budget Planner for each section
- Address/Phone Book section
Keep track of photos of flowers, hair style, make-up, dress, invtations and articles you print out from web site or cut out from magazines by adding them in the appropriate section of your wedding planner. Whether you find one at your local book store or browse and purchase online, a wedding planner is the ultimate tool to make sure that everything is just right!
